After working for 15 years in the Music Industry, I joined Tayplay just as Covid hit in 2020. After 15 months of lockdown, I am now out meeting our wonderful customers. I am generally found on the golf course, listening to loud & repetitive music, eating homegrown produce from my garden. Jumped out of a plane once, and spent a fabulous 5 days building my own guitar from 5 blocks of wood.

Our Ethos: Know The Ropes
At Tayplay, we understand and appreciate that no two clients have the same requirements, and that is why our core philosophy is based on individuality. Our technical and design team is available to advise architects, local authorities, residential and design/engineering trade on how to design and manufacture their own playground rope, rope nets, and rope bridges.
We seek nothing but the best for our material: colour, durability, strength, and safety. We want to provide a playground that children can play and climb straight through childhood.
Materials & Components
Our technical and design team are pushing new products, technologies and materials to meet the needs of the market. Our technical and design team are available to advise on rope colours, rope materials, connectors, and end fixings. Use our in-depth knowledge to help design your next rope playscape.
You can personalise your product by selecting rope and connector colours to theme your playscape to match the local play environment or corporate brand-identity.
Design & Technical Support
Tayplay Design Engineers collaborate with other designers, engineers, architects, sales and marketing to development new rope playscapes for children. Our team are trained up in the Adobe Creative Suite, Draftsite, and Solidworks to best communicate our designs through this process.
NPD can take the form of new components, new products, new combinations, and new custom nets. Our custom nets can be supplied with a 3D model. Meaning you can inspect the design, and be assured that you will get a rope net to fit your structure, before we ship the net to your international destination.
In-House Rope Net Manufacturing
Tayplay Rope Nets are manufactured in-house, in our factories and offices located off the M90, Perth, Scotland (UK). We pride ourselves in having a loyal and hardworking workforce, with an average work experience of 20 years.
Our standard lead time for design and production is 4 weeks for basic ropes, nets, and bridges. However, we recommend asking our team, as this time can vary depending on our production schedule, and the size of the job. No job is too big, or too small.
